New Delhi: Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working on bringing communities to its WhatsApp Business application on Android. The platform is unlikely to remove the business tab, which was introduced last year, WABetaInfo reports. Instead, it can add a new entry point for the new feature right in the application menu.

When users open ‘Communities’ right in the menu, they will see the list of all the communities they have created and joined in the past, including all their subgroups and community message groups. Furthermore, companies will be able to create a new community within this section. (Also Read: Twitter closes Delhi, Mumbai offices, only three employees run company’s Indian operations)
